Delivery Terms and Conditions
Once payment has been received in full and your order processed, you will be notified at the time or contacted by email or telephone confirming your purchase and notification of the anticipated delivery date, times cannot be given. If the date provided is unsuitable please get in touch and we will re-arrange the delivery date.
Free of Charge Delivery
We offer free delivery to all customers that fall within selected postcodes and hit the Free Delivery amount for that area. Please call 01782 533722 to see how much you need to spend for free delivery.
Our drivers and couriers are instructed to deliver to the kerbside and not leave the hard road or leave products on public property. If you or your agent requests a delivery to be made off the public highway, this will be at the drivers discretion and only if it is safe to do so, irrespective of any pre arrangements made in advance with the company. You may be required to sign a card to obtain an indemnity against any damage incurred if you are present on site. We accept no responsibility for any damage incurred to customers or their agent’s property or our materials if our vehicle is invited off the public road or we are asked to crane over walls and fences. Examples of damage are to manholes, tarmac indentation, overhead cables, gate posts. Drivers are instructed not to drive on ground such as mud, verges, or grass.
Courier deliveries may be unloaded using a hand pallet truck. On these occasions the driver will be unable to move your delivery on uneven or gravelled areas.
A delivery by couriers normally occurs between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
Outside couriers are not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of materials, nor do they deliver items to multiple addresses.

Deliveries Incurring A Charge
All postcodes displaying a charge are calculated based on our courier’s rates, with no added extras.
We publish our zone rates up front on our website, which will be displayed to you when you click on the delivery balloon on the right of the screen on the home page.
Deliveries by couriers normally occur between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
Collection from any of our showrooms is free of charge.
Working days are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays.
Delivery times apply to items in stock.
If any items are out of stock we will contact you and either organise a refund or give you an estimated time of availability.
Some offers and discounted products may be exclusive to the internet store only and may vary from depot prices For those customers who live in some remote rural areas our delivery service may be extended by two working days or we may contact you to advise that your address is not serviceable.
Delivery to an address other than your billing address is permitted.
Preparation for Receipt Of Delivery
When contacted by Milton Garden Products or our courier to arrange delivery please:
Confirm address details and leave a daytime telephone number so that we can contact you if necessary on the day of delivery.
Ensure the delivery area is accessible to a vehicle, flat and solid enough to take the weight of the delivery.
Access may be required for a vehicle up to 20 tonnes. Please notify us of any delivery constraints in advance. For example, weight limit, restricted street access, or soft ground. If the vehicle is unable to deliver due to access, your order may be returned to us or the couriers depot where storage charges and re-delivery charges may be added. It is advisable to have someone taking delivery that is able to help the driver unload if required.
Your Rights To Cancel
You have no rights to cancel orders placed in store. However we may consider items for return and credit at our discretion .
Distance Selling a customer has 14 days to notify us to cancel. Once cancelled a customer then has 14 days to return. The return fees will be covered by the customer and the products have to be returned in unused saleable condition with original packaging intact.
If you cancel, you must return to us any goods that have already been dispatched at your own expense within 14 days of cancellation. We will reimburse all payments within 14 days of cancellation. Where the contract is for the supply of goods, and these have already been dispatched, we will reimburse all payments within 14 days of receiving them back from you . If the products can not be returned by the customer themselfs we can potentially organise collections however the collection costs vary job to job and sometimes the costs can outway the product cost. Multi buys or special offers cannot be exchanged or refunded if not required.
All special orders that are non-stock items must be paid for in full prior to ordering and may incur a delay in delivery, and are subject to a non-refund or return policy.
Proof of purchase is always necessary.
Any tailor made or special orders will not be able to be cancelled or a refund given.
Our Right To Cancel
We have insufficient stock available to deliver within 28 days.
We believe a fraud has taken place.
Any of the goods you ordered were incorrectly listed or priced on our website.
We will contact you as soon as possible and will re-credit your credit or debit card within 28 days of your order.
Shortages and Damages
We will have no liability if you fail to notify us of any items that are damaged or of incorrect quantity by email, telephone or in writing within 1 working day of delivery. On notification within this timescale we will endeavour to resolve your issues.
We cannot be held responsible for any under or over ordering, any reference to sizes and dimensions within the product description are purely for guide purposes only.
Variation in colour and shades of all products is unfortunately unavoidable and must be accepted.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Terms and Conditions
Our Returns Policy is in addition to your legal rights
Payment of the purchase price in full is required at the time of acceptance of the order by the Milton Garden Products.
The purchaser may cancel the order up until 48 hours prior to the delivery date, this is due to the dispatch process being complete and the goods no longer in our hands. Where the purchaser wishes to cancel an order prior to dispatch, Milton Garden Products shall issue a full refund. Where the purchaser wishes to cancel an order once goods have been dispatched, the Purchaser shall be liable for the return charges. At our discretion, we may allow items to be returned, the price upon refund may not be the same as the original price paid, some items may be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
Goods will be delivered to the delivery address provided by the purchaser. If delivery is unsuccessful due to either: i. An inaccurate or incomplete delivery address;
No-one being present to accept delivery;
Inaccessibility; then, once another delivery date is arranged, the Purchaser will be charged additional delivery charges for each attempted re-delivery.
Delivery will be deemed complete when the goods have been offloaded at the nearest accessible point to the delivery address, which in many cases will be the property kerbside. Delivery required any closer to the property will be at the Driver’s discretion. Milton Garden products deliveries are NOT made by its own vehicles outside of Stoke on Trent and so a third party is used. Milton Garden Products accepts no liability for delays in haulage that may occur which result in customers incurring costs or damages to the property on deliveries. We advise you to only book in Landscapers, labour, tools, hire equipment etc. once you are in full receipt of your goods. If you advance hire of book in labour and your delivery is delayed, Milton Garden Products accepts no liability for any incurred costs.
Handling & Storage after Delivery
Immediately after delivery and examination by the Purchaser of the goods, the purchaser shall be responsible for moving the goods to suitable protection. Milton Garden Products takes no liability for goods improperly stored or handled.
Quality & Description of Goods
The nature of our natural stone products means that the appearance, colour, tone and texture may vary resulting in the actual physical stone differing in shape, size, thickness and appearance from the photographs used on our Webpage and e-commerce sites, such as eBay. It is strongly recommended that Customers request physical samples of stone from any range before placing orders; customers are advised to visit Milton Garden Products to view all products prior to ordering. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods are suitable for their intended purpose. The goods are sold on the understanding that they are of natural stone which is subject to natural formation characteristics, variation in colour, texture and markings and are all part of the natural makeup and appeal of natural stone.
Milton Garden Products recommends that the Purchaser employ only the services of a qualified and experienced fitter in the storage, handling, laying and sealing of all natural stone and porcelain. We also recommend that the Purchaser use a good quality, suitable adhesive and grout, we currently sell RESIPLY, please ask for details. Natural stone paving needs to be sealed using a good quality and recognised sealing brand in order to prevent the chance of fading and discolouration, we currently stock AZPECTS EASY SEAL, please ask for details.
Returns & Exchanges
To prevent the likelihood of breakages for the order we advise to order full packs rather than split packs, due to the product being removed from its original packaging to a less secure half pallet.
We require the damaged, unused slabs to be returned to us prior to us processing a refund or exchange for replacements. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to return the slabs, the pack or packs must not be laid as chips and damages can occur in the process. Only full packs can be exchanged, do not use any of the slabs out of the pack as you may lose your right for an exchange. Do not start laying the slabs and then notifying us of damages as we cannot take liability once they have been unpacked. Any damages or unusable are the customers responsibility to exchange, and any cost to return or redeliver lies with the purchaser.
We will NOT exchange, replace or refund for: breakages, chips, damages or discolouration up to 10% of the full order, as this is considered
‘Spillage’ with stone. Each order should consider an additional 10% extra stone to cover cuts and breakages & 15% extra on Rainbow Sandstone. Stock cannot be returned and refunded for over-orders as we consider the purchaser to have ordered the correct amount. We do not accept returns where there is excess stone, disposal of any items is the purchaser’s responsibility.
All advertised thicknesses of Indian Sandstone is for guide purposes only. However, due to the nature of the product a tolerance of plus or minus 25mm can be possible. Some Sandstone comes with unique flecks and speckling, hairline cracks which occur in natural products, these are not considered unusable.
At our discretion, we may allow items to be returned, the price upon refund may not be the same as the original price paid, some items may be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
Milton Garden Products shall accept no liability in respect of any defect or damage arising from the fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, effective or poor installation, misuse, alterations or repairs of the goods.
